Calibration
The process of adjusting the precision and accuracy of a device by comparison with a known standard.
Capacitor
A two-terminal electrical component that stores electrical energy in an electric field.
Circuit Board
A non-conductive material board to which other electronic components can be attached.
Combat Robot
A hobby or sport event where two or more robots fight in an arena to disable each other.
Compliant Grip
A type of robotic gripper that can adapt to the shape of the object being grasped, often using flexible materials or mechanisms.
Computer Vision
A field of artificial intelligence that trains computers to interpret and understand the visual world.
Cruise Missile
A robot-controlled guided missile that carries an explosive payload.
Cyborg
Also known as a cybernetic organism, a being with both biological and artificial (e.g. electronic, mechanical or robotic) parts.
