Optical Encoder
A sensor which measures linear or rotary motion by detecting the movement of markings past a fixed beam of light.
Optical Proximity Sensor
Robot sensors which measures visible or invisible light reflected from an object to determine distance.
Orientation
The angular position of an object with respect to the robot's reference system such as in roll, pitch, and yaw.
